We traveled to Lancaster to try their food truck and what a welcome surprise. We had the fresh Maryland crab cake sandwich on a potato roll and their french fries. I asked for non seasoned as they do put seasoning on them.. I found their crab cakes to be delicious and with little, if any,filler. BEST crab cake sandwich I have had in a while. Friendly servers.Since they have a location in Lisburn area, we just may have to go there for when they have hard shell Maryland blue crabs.

We had the pleasure of having the food truck visit our office building, and it was a fantastic experience! The portions were incredibly generous, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. It was a great change of pace for lunch, and I’m really looking forward to visiting their Lisburn location soon. Highly recommend!

We ordered 3 doz jumbo crabs today. We also got a pint of Chesapeake Pasta Salad. The crabs and the pasta tasted great. They were well worth it. I definitely recommend The Grappling Crab Shack.

I called this outfit out of business hours. A lady picked up and was helpful about size/prices. Ordered 3 doz "Jumbo". All of us enjoyed them and were happy about the size, seasoning level and weight of the crabs. We didn't have one "dud".

Staff is very polite and helpful! Wide variety of selections! The crabs are always meaty and juicy! Chesapeake pasta salad, the Jambalaya, corn and crab chowder, shrimp as well as the crab cakes are what we ordered today and we weren't disappointed at all! Definitely will be back! Thanks again Thad!

What a truly hidden gem adding the Yellow Breeches Creek. We split a dozen medium-large mix of crabs and a pint of pasta salad. Everything was delicious. And definitely for more large than medium crabs. It’s a take out/picnic place, so there is no inside seating or bathroom. If you want to eat by the scenic creek, like we did, bring your own picnic supplies (table cloth, plates, wipes, utensils) and beverages. They have crab utensils for sale. Depending on the season, bug spray is recommended. If you want crab cakes or fries, check their web site for the food truck schedule. Also, there’s an ice cream shack that is only open on the weekends. We’ll be back to try the ice cream, crab cakes, coleslaw, and fries. The service was friendly, patient, and helpful.
